Thread: Old Soviet DE in shiny brass.

I recently found this DE razor that belonged to my dad. It was made probably somewhere in the 50's - 60's and had some type of nickel plating that rusted away. Some of it just disappeared during use and so I thought, I'd sand the rest off and let the brass underneath take over the show. It's a nice little shaver that I really love. Here we go, put your shades on for this one:






I have to polish it a bit every now and then to keep the brass shiny. Not a big deal. Maybe I'll put some clear laquer on it in the future.
