You might have to make some extra hollows too... Just for the blondes

Thank you, with my tool, i'm able to make more hollow grind on higher blade, but not on a 5/8. I would need a 100mm wheel. I will maybe buy something like that one day

What is the reason you chose the not-quite-5/8 width?

    I choosed the 5/8 because somebody asked me for a 5/8 .

The highness is 1.5 cm instead of 1.58. I've lost the 0.08 because of a small problem of grind. i put away a bit too much material in the middle of the grind and i had had to straighten a bit the edge

My steel plate is 5.9mm wich is a not too bad thickness for a 5/8. (that is more or less the thickness i foud on the various 5/8 i have at home at the thickest point).

I gave some try with less thick material (1.6mm for a 2/8) , (3.5mm for a 2/8-3./8, 4.5 mm for a 7/8),to make razor, and that wasn't very bright result.
With 5.9 as base, i'm able to make more or less all the size between 5/8 et 8/8, even if the angle on a 8/8 will be a bit aigu (normaly on the 8/8 i have, have a 6.7 mm back thickness )
