Im no pro steampunk guy, just an enthusaste so you could be right. If you check out the wikipedia link I posted or other articles I think you'll find that the genre has expanded to a sci fi world set in the victorian era. There are steampunk fashions, music etc. You'll find that just about every kind of object has been "retrofitted" to age of steam in this mythical world. "Steam" refers to the basis of the technology and the era and not so much as a definition of its objects. The classic example would be the ever present brass goggles that everyone wears which are not steam powered.

Anyway, like I said, hard core steampunk fans might roll their eyes at my "inventions." Its just a shaver's attempt to join in on the fun
Besides whose to say my razors aren't steam powered? !
