Gorgeous. Did you do the spines on the Bokers or were they already filed?

Thanks gents for the encouraging comments! Pleasantly surprised with the positive red comments. Personally, I like the black backing better. The red backing is acrylic, so it does have an advantage; it does polish out much better than the black. The black will always stay flat. It would be nice if it would also shine like the rest of the razor. These all have been sanded up to 12000 grit, then polished. Shell may be one of those love/hate, but I think its a nice way to add color to everyones collection.
No, those are gorgeously original on these blades. I got derailed due to that spine work. They really aren't much wider than a 'normal' spine. The first scales I made were much narrower than these finished ones. The spine art left an illusion that the razor was top heavy with those. I re-made them, and really like the proportions now

Yes. With doming/dapping kit. The Bokers were the 2nd to largest dapping hole with the 2nd to largest doming punch of my kit. just wanted to soften the edge of flat washer. The AIC(red) was at the opposite of that kit spectrum...maybe third to smallest punch. Also placed a small washer under the domed washers to help retain contour.

Every man's fantasy...Boker twins! Beautiful work as always!
The Red looks awesome too. I'm gonna have to go break a set of scales so I can get me some of that. :-DLast edited by jcsixx; 01-18-2011 at 04:32 AM.

Great work on all of them.
I like the Dovo, there's a lot going on with the Abalone but still has soft colors.
Well Done!
