One of the razors in my to do pile. It had a big chip on the end of the blade, and the original scales were pretty chewed up and broken off on one side. I was bored and wanted to see what I could do with it. the blade had minor rust and very little pitting, sorry for the no before pics.
I cut off the tip of the blade where it was chipped and cracked, shortening it about 3/4 inches. then I made new lacewood scales. coping saw, dremel sanding drum, then lots of hand sanding. with a CA finish. I re-used the original wedge. prolly have to replace that. I do not like it. then I practiced my pinning. I still need a lot of practice. sorry for the crap pics. I am a baker not a photographer, but I am still learning.
