Default Wade and Butcher in Olive wood

It's been a while since I had time to work on my own razors and post them here. Last weekend I decided to take a vacation and work on my own stuff. For your viewing pleasure I present to you a 'You Lather Well I'll Shave Well" This is my second personal restoration of this particular razor but the first I was able to save the etching on. The pics are post honing which Jr and I did yesterday along with 7 other personal razors.

The scales are an olive wood with a burnished Tung oil finish. The pins are nickel silver, washers stainless steel and the wedge is pewter. I didn't do anything to the blade except a light cleaning. Sorry about the picture quality. Jr wasn't here to take them for me.

Nice etching on the blade. I don't believe I have seen one like that.

Nice finish on the olive wood!

    Thanks for posting.

Beautiful job on the scales, what a lovely piece of wood. Glad you could save that cool etch.
