    Default 7/8's Hugalt in horn

Here is the last of the 'work on your own' restorations from last weekend. Pics are prior to honing which Jr and I did yesterday. Nothing done to the blade except for a light cleaning. The scales are buffalo horn, pins nickel silver, washers stainless steel and the wedge is bone.

This is a galactic razor. Never seen such a beautiful edge.

Ya shouldn't feel so bad. These have been sitting around for a few months before I 'made time' to work on them. Don't try to squeak the work into a time slot. Work on them when you can put whatever time you need into them and you'll like the results more.

Blade and scales work so well together, I like the matt pumice finish on the scales which beautifully compliment that beautiful blade!

Thank you Richard but the scales actually are a near mirror finish and are just reflecting the matte paper of my light box. I often get the same reflections on the blades. I gotta get Jr to take more of my pictures. He is a lot better at it than I am.
