Default 2 Filarmonicas 14 coming back to life

    Hi folks.

A Spanish customer sent me 2 Filarmonicas 14 for me to bring them back to life.
The razors have some mild hone wear, some patina, some scrateches and one of them need a new set of scales. Luckily I had a spare Filarmonica 14 scales laying around.

    This is how they arrived:

I'll be posting the work in progress.

    Leon,

Looks good. I can barely wait to see how they look once you've restored them.

This will be fun to watch. I am sure the owner will be very happy.

Sorry folks for taking a little longer than expected. Here are some photos of the the process:

Starting with the grey and green paste:

    Tap, tap, tap, ...:

Until it's rigid enough. Personally I like it when the blade is able to stand itself:

Here are the finished razors, what do you think?

Great work and a very good lesson "How to give second life to old razors?". Thanks.

    Hello, Leon:

The Filarmonicas look lovely. Well done, sir, for giving new lives to great razors.
