The small knife is finished. Making the handle was the hardest part. specifically, making a straight cut along the grain of the wood was challenging. The wood is teak, finished with a couple of layers of CA. I chose teak because it can handle moisture much better than other woods.
I am now grinding and sanding the big knife to prepare it for heat treatment. Now I also need to modify my forge to get it hot enough for heat treatment.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
