Luna through the window
This is a rescale for one of the local boys here in Brisbane. The blade is an A.Fiest & Co. - Lunawerks. I dont know anything about the blade at all.
The razor came to me with a cracked bakelite scale and a after-market third pin.
To give the scales a touch of 'Luna' I created a moon shaped window with 2 part epoxy.
The scales are smoke acrylic and the wedge is white acrylic. The pins are brass with a brass, stainless, brass stacked washer.

Thanked: 983Wow Stu, that looks great. I thought it looked good when you showed us the roughed out scales at the meet, but the finished job is so, so much nicer.
Well done.

Thanked: 94Great job.
I know that the original plan was for solid black acrylic but the very dark smoke adds some translucence and gives a night's sky effect which enhances the whole theme.
If you've got any of that dark smoke scale material left you may want to consider a southern cross for a future project.
