Wade & Butcher 7/8 wedge with barbers notch
After some tedious handsanding and polishing the blade I finally came to this result.
I bought this w&b a couple of weeks ago on ebay and it was pretty beaten up because of the pitting. I decided to handsand everything until it was nearly flawless.
The scales I've made myself, they are made of black buffalohorn. The wedge is made of white buffalobone. The pins are nickelsilver with ss washers.
As this is my second restauration project I'm pretty satisfied.
Before restoration...it used to be sad and scaleless...
After restoration....The blade shines and enjoys life
Any comments or critics would be appreciated!
Now it's up for honing.
