Thanked: 13245This one was done with a grinder, I started with a Dremel but didn't get a nice sweeping curve to it, and didn't like the look I was getting so I switched out to the grinder...
The W&B in Turquoise and Gold???
That one was done using a Dremel I called those Wicked Wade & Butchers They were full sized blades where I just Modded the Hollow Notches and the Heels a bit...

Well done! Once I had a similar problem, I used lazer welding to fix a crack. But your solution is better.
