    Default Filarmonica in Horn

This is my first attempt at working with horn. I learned heaps, natural materials dont always play nice.

This one came with cracked bakelite scales. The blade has been ground heavily and as a result very thin at the edge. I haven't touched the blade, just cleaned and polished the tang...I will leave trying to hone this one up to the owner (Pauly)

Paul wanted to go for a 'art deco' style on the scales, and also wanted to keep the feathering of the horn prominant.

Pins are brass, washers are single #0 on the pivot and a triple stack on the wedge. Wedge is a red acrylic.

    Anyway, thanks for looking.

    Any feedback is appreciated.
