    Default Custom 9/8 Translucent G10

    Hello,

Just finished this custom last evening.

Semi-transparent G10 on the scales with a blue spacer.

    O1 steel

Stainless fasteners - I blued the stainless washers on the pivot to show through dark.

File work on spine and tail

Finish is mirror on the spine/tang/tail and the blade is satin high polish

Moderate smile on a 3" blade surface with a sharp point.

I really enjoyed the shave on this one.

Thanks for looking and feel free to let me know what you think of it.

    Best Regards
    Kenny

Beautiful design and execution. Love the way you took advantage of the translucence of the scales with that contoured wedge, ultra cool.

WOW is the first work that comes to mind... then looking at all the attention to detail takes over. The file work is really nice and I really like the little "Scoop" you did on the tip! The flow of the scales is SUPURB! Love how they follow the shape of the spine right down to the back notches. Makes it really shine as a flowing piece.
    PS...
It almost looks like a modified Spanish point... SLICK !

That is one nice looking razor, love the spine work, simple but elegant none the less.

Nice work Kenny! It kind of looks like the razor took a bite out of the wedge from the inside.

I really like the large, deep jimps on the top of the tang.

Kenny, you're always a crowd pleaser! This razor is sure to fit in with all your other works of art. I like the blue wedge showing through. Huge fan of the worked spine and tang, too. Looks awesome!
