Lol! I've got a lot of gears that's for sure!
I put the "cross beam" on the left side only just to mix it up a bit. This was my first time using my scroll saw to do fine cutting. Usually I just rough out the scales and sand them on the belt sander. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I just traced out the shape with a pencil on the rough cut scales then cut them out followed by some filing to fix my unsteady areas.
Thanks Mike. I steampunked the razor I bought from you too! I sold it a couple weeks ago. That blade was perfect for the hammered copper scales!

Paco!! You were only about 40 min from my house when we met :) My "shop" is just a small corner in the garage that's so packed with woodworking stuff, reloading tools and scale stuff that I don't think we could both fit!! Yeah I still have the beard. I've made a deal with the wife that when I drop a few more pounds I will shave it off. I'm getting close!!
