    Default Heavy Green Lizard

    Nice work on this forum!
I found this Cattaragus blade a while back. It is 6/8 and a bit stiff, but the thing I liked most was it has a huge tang and a massive tail! The front blade face seems to have a "lizard skin" pattern around the lizard, or is it is just patina that looks that way? I have not seen this in a Cattaragus before, Possibly a barber's model?
It did have some pitting, so I did the best I could and blued the tang and spine. I had these scales with a blade which was a plain Cattaragus 5/8. Naturally, I could not help myself! Sorry for the bad pics, had to be quick. House full of family! First shave will be tomorrow! I feel it will be in the rotation for a long while!

Very cool! I like the etch and scale design.
