First restoration - W&B Barbers use
I picked up a pretty beat 8/8 Wade and Butcher Barbers use razor on eBay a little while ago. The scales were pretty grimy (couldn't even tell the wedge was metal) but the blade wasn't too bad. When I got the chance I unpinned the scales, filled some cracks, sanded and polished them and took off all the rust and polished the blade.
Here's unfortunately the only before pics I have:

I really enjoyed the process and can't wait to start another project.

Very nice. I am trying to build up the nerve to buy on eBay and try to clean one up.

Thanks! I filled the cracks with CA glue and went through the grits of sandpaper on the scales, finishing up with micromesh 3200-12000. I need to get some neatsfoot oil to finish them up though. The micromesh is really great for a deep mirror finish as long as you get all the scratches out with previous sandings.
