Got this on a "blind" auction on eBay in a lot of old razors and decided to try my hand at, well, hand sanding!
Before:
Unfortunately, the rust and pitting ran deep, but that's why I decided to take a crack at this one first anyway!
I started losing the stamp and decided to start moving up in grit (thinking maybe I was taking off too much metal on the blade as well)
So I'm gonna go back with 80 on the blade and start all over, but this is where I got, and no polish yet, nothin' but sandpaper.

From what I see it is looking very good.
