    If I'm not mistaken, Case still makes a line of pocket knives branded with the Cattaraugus name.

    Theseus, I don't know, maybe so. I used to have a Case knife growing up - a folding hunter, like a 'Buck' knife. It was a work-horse, and it kept a mean edge. So, they definitely made some quality cutlery in their time. And, I think they still do.
