Thread: My first custom made razor, Japanese style! :)

I have already posted a few pics before HT, here is the finished product:





She is 7/8 in size, traditional assymetrical grind, with nice black handle wrap. My belt grinder isn't ready yet, so this is all finished up by hand, and a 5" bench grinder. Yes, I used it after HT too, it wasn't too funny to put it in cold water after each stroke on the wheel, but eventually I ground it thin enough. It was a lot of fun, and the first shave with it was the best of my life. Not because of the edge, I was so excited to try it that I was hasty and it wasn't perfect, but because this is the very first blade I made! That feeling was just awesome
