Sure thing... on this one, my final belt was 400, but after that I took it to the buffer with some 320 greaseless (which with the wheel setup that I have actually looks more like a 600 grit or so) I am going to bring the shine up some more with various buffing compounds though - still have a few shop sessions in this one before I am ready to let it leave the shop!

That is truly a wild piece, very creative. I need to get back to finishing mine. Will not match what some of you guys make but some of you boys build some really beautiful razors.

I would pay fantastically for that if given the opportunity. Functional art? Yes please.
Nothing short of a thing of beauty. Very well done, if I could stand and applaud you I would.

Well, in my true fashion (about a billion months after I had planned on it )... I've finally gotten around to making a base for this, and putting an edge on it. The base came out well, but the edge... I was honestly a bit scared to let it touch skin for fears of being bit in half. The design works very well, great for anyone who shaves one handed - so intuitive and easy both sides.
Have a look - still trying to decide what to do with this one

I missed this thread when first started, but well done on all accounts. That is a sweet looking razor, and the base is simple yet functional. Bravo my good man.
