    Default 1820s Wade & Butcher, Black Horn

    blade was in pretty poor shape, it got some grinding on the belts, and then some buffing.. The scales are new, close to original shape, and I made a new lead wedge, tried to be as careful as I could while making it (I cut it from a lead brick I found in my grandfather's garage a couple years ago).

    Looks pretty good for a razor that's pushing 200 years old.

    I don't wanna speak for Ray here. But personally, by the time I'm 185 years old, I intend to be stabilized in epoxy and kept polished and dust free by dedicated robots.
