    Default Custom Taylors 1000.

This is one of several projects I have on the go and just finished over the weekend, it's a Vintage Taylors 1000, who had been forced to live in those drab vintage plastic black scales for the last seventy years or more, as you can see i'm no fan of those black boring scales nearly every vintage razor comes with, so I made a set from a block of American Walnut, and added a set of white acrylic liners cut from a A4 sheet I had lying around, and a real Ebony wedge, with double washers, well what do you think black plastic or American Walnut?

I really like the contrast of the walnut and white liners. An elegant result - well done.
