Default Antoni Tadross in African Blackwood, Brass lined

Antoni Tadross 5/8 Hollow Ground in African Blackwood scales with Blackwood wedge I restored for a friend to give to her boyfriend for their anniversary. Scales are lined in brass. I only used mothers to polish up the blade as I did not want to lose the etching on the blade. Brass pins and washers.

Nice work. African Blackwood is my favorite. What did you use for finish? I've usually just used Renwax, since Blackwood is so oily.

Agreed, the blackwood is very nice. Good job on the lined wedge. Well done.

What thickness did you use for the brass lining? It looks perfect.

I'm not sure off the top of my head. I made that a while ago, I'll check next chance I get. I'm pretty sure it was the thinnest brass I could get at the hardware store. Thanks and I'm glad you like it! It was a gift for a good friend and was a blast to do.
