    Johnus,

    I think you are referring to the width of the razor between the spine and the cutting edge of the razor. No setting the bevel is the same as smaller razors, providing the thickness of the blade is correct. The ratio between the thickness of the spine and the distance between the spine and the cutting edge is important.

    I would like to know too. I am working on turning a sword into a non-folder myself, and was curious about that ratio my own self. And also can that be corrected a bit for shaving by the secondary bevel that gets set?

    I really love the boxer theme. We have an old boy who is 6 and they are absolutely fine animals.

    Use to have a wonderful dog that loved Yellow Jackets. We has an old pear tree and he'd lay by the old fruit and hunt them. You'd find 2 or 3 stuck to his tongue all the time. Didn't bother him.
