8/8s & Giraffe bone
Here is an 8/8s 1095 blade in giraffe bone scales. The tail and spine have been textured. The blade was quenched with clay on its back to make the hamon.

Love the shape you went with on those scales, Charlie. And that smiling blade with barber's notch is awesome! Some lucky dog is going to love that beast!

Absolutely beautiful, the whole package, wouldn't mind giving the razor a run out, would look pretty good in my SOTD photo.
