    Default So this one was jealous of my new Hart's scales

    This is my second set of "scales". The first ones weren't worthy of posting. These aren't an exact copy of my Hart Steel's scales, but they're close. Finished in wax.

    Pretty cool.

    I haven't tried the one piece scales yet. I was actually thinking about it today. Now you've really got me thinking!

    You could do it in a snap. I just made a cut with a circular saw for the blade and cut the sides with a band saw. I opened up the center cut a little with the band saw, trimmed things up a little, and sanded.
