Hi all,

First, I'm sorry for the picture quality, I'm still trying to learn to do a better job, but I think the combination of weak equipment and poor skills are holding me back!

So, here is a C-Mon that I got cheap off the 'bay, mostly because it was in horrible condition. It was almost black with patina and had such pitting on the toe and various other locations, that I wasn't even certain I could save it. However, persistence and luck brought her back to life just fine. The pits are still visible as I just could not go deep enough on the metal to remove them all. A lot of time was spent trying to just get the pits less dark, as they really stood out in several locations. The good news was there were none toward the edge, all in the center or near the spine.

It honed up incredibly, and for my first C-Mon, I'm quite happy with it.

Enjoy!!

Mike
