Default Hat and W & B Bow (tie)

This nice little W&B came in a pile of Bay razors, and had a bad case of red rust all over the top 1/4 of the blade.

Throwing caution to the wind, I decided to try my hand using power equipment for the first time since a dremel sent a chunk of blade awol a few years back.

I didnt see a need to grind it all the way down, and I much prefer saving as much etch as possible. I think it came out pretty darned well!

As a matter of fact, I think its a feather in my cap.

I am also taking this opportunity to highlight how photos can be manipulated. Photo 1) shows the razor looking good, and Photo 2) shows a different angle where you can see the remaining pitting.

    Next up, Honing!

The edge looks to be in great shape; she should be a good shaver.

Great job!! I have several that the pits from rusting will never come completely out. It just gives them character in my opinion!! Great Work!!
