    Charlie,Do you think that Inclusion (for want of a better word) is deep enough to cause a rust issue long term? is that your concern.

    It depends, the opening will wick in water, but it will also wick in oil. If it were taken care of and oiled on occasion It would last forever. I do not see it as a function issue more of a cosmetic ( bruise to my ego ) type of flaw.

    Charlie. Looks great. I like the pattern on the steel. The fact that a small flaw bothers you speaks volumes about your work ethic and attention to detail.
