    Having held that razor in my hand prior to the restore and seen the state it came in,
    I am thrilled you managed to save that front scale. It sure looks the part, well worth the effort.

    No special feason really, I used it back when I restored guitars, and a some scales ago I tried it simply because it was all I had and it worked, so I'm just using the bottle I had left.

    Excellent work! I am impressed with how the scales turned out. Never knew oil soaks could do so much. I will keep this in mind if/when I do a complete restore.
    It's just corn syrup... Warm, blood flavored, corn syrup ...
