Default Joseph Rodgers Chopper Stolen from the USA

After a successful special op's into the USA I am pleased to announce this is back where it belongs in the UK.
After many years of torture and abuse there was some work to be done.

But after some therapy it's making good progress

Joseph Rogers quarter hollow, 8/8 at the toe tapering (naturally) down to a little over 7/8 at the heel. Horn Scales, Nickel Silver Wedge & Pins

Blade is stamped "Made for D P Ives & Co, 4-5 Milk Street, Boston'

Man, you don't know how pleasing it is to see you save those scales! So many have been tossed, a shame! It's gonna be a beauty!
And there it is! A real Beauty! Sweet Job!

Hey, that razor needs to come back to the US. It was made for a company in Boston. Taking that back to the UK would be like the French taking back the Statue of Liberty.

I was thinking about this. In all actuality it was intended to be sold in Boston and eventually wind up in Texas! Yeah! That's it!

I've used Milliput before but never thought to use it for scales. Do you know how its outlook is for long term, as far as bonding / cracking or any other issues?
