Cubans know alot about spanish cedar,real mahogany is not part of thier genre.
Not indigeonous to the island.

Swietenia mahagoni, check it out. Hard to get now, but was pretty popular in the 1700-1800's for cabinetry, etc. Pretty cool history too.
