Dovo Bismark in Zebra.
SO I figured that I needed more practice with building scales, and the only razor I had left was my Bismark that I bought last year while on tour in Italy.
I was hesitant to strip down my only 'new' razor, especially because there was nothing wrong with it at all....almost.
I found the gold wash to be crappy, so I polished it all off with the exception of the blade wash/etching.
I gave it a light overall polish, not even close to mirror, just some mothers to brighten it up.
I scaled it in Zebra with stacked brass and a hand made lead wedge.
6 coats of tung oil and I think it looks alright. An improvement over the original anyways!
Anyways, enough yapping..here's the pics!

Thanked: 443Nice work. It's cool that you decided to lose the gold wash altogether.

Thanks, I did like the goldwash origionally but it started looking delapitated and it just wasn't doing any favors
to the razor, so it's gone!Through the mud and the blood, to the green fields beyond.
