My Thanks, Neil. Yes, I feel you are correct in that the bolsters were soldered onto the brass and the circular holes in the liners is filled with it. The brass thickness is .025, not really that thick. I feel the solidity comes from the solid mount of the bolsters to the liners, making for a tight peen as well as the Mop being securely fastened as well. This has been so much more rewarding with your help in securing it's history. It surely would just be an old razor without that! Your approval is most appreciated.

I'm still sad about the Rhodes blade, but wow that's a fine job getting those scales back onto a usable razor.
How's the weight of it as a single piece? Do the scales overbalance the blade at all?
