Thanked: 30I like that spalted wood, it looks like old dirty bone.
I have a nice old Sheffeild Wedge (I think it is a Frederick's ) that could use a new home. Its a challenge piece for sure. Heavily pitted and almost blackened with patina. Its yours if you want to do something with it. I picked it up in a lot and I believe it is out of my skill range, so I dont plan on doing anything with it. I can get you a picture later this evening if you want to see it. -- I am sure it would look nice in some light color burl...
