Great job, I like the color better than the "parent" ones.
So are the molds one trick pony's or can you get another casting(s) out of them?

According to the manufacturers, you can get 30-70 pulls from a mold before it becomes unusable....on something like scales that don't have many undercuts and doesn't require bending the mold too much to get out, I don't see why I couldn't get 2-3 times as many as the recommendation. Heck, I've already been making a couple sets a day just for fun and experimentation...

I've thought about it. I'm going to unpin a razor with fancy scales next week and may take some pics for a tutorial. The only problem I'm going to run into is that after mixing the A and B sides, I don't have time for pics...I've only got about thirty seconds to get it mixed and poured, but I'll figure something out.

Thank you for considering! I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would love to learn how to use this procedure!!

You could always just set up the camera and get a video clip of the mixing and pouring, and they grab some still pics off the video.

What did you use to make the molds?

Do they sell clear epoxy for this?
