    Pure form follows function, great job. It definitely looks like a Gentleman's razor, very classy looking.

    Yes, I have shaved with it, and it was very nice!

    This steel is really nice, no surprise so many people are using it.

    That is one beautiful blade and awesome looking scales. I just got some koa wood to make scales for a w&b raszor I got on ebay.
    Could you tell me what did you used to waterproof the scales?

    I used an oil called Habiol, but you can use anything you can find locally thats useable for wood finishing. Danish oil, tung oil, or anything else.

    Do you recommend any non-glossy polyurethane as a final coat?
