A very beautiful piece of wood and a very beautiful piece of steel, a marriage made in haven.

Gorgeous looking razor you've got there. Love the scales, oozes class.

Would definitely love to see more of your work sir

    Question

    Lovely razors. Beautiful wood.
While I aspire to a custom one day I am currently limited to standard razors and have no experience with decorative spines.

Love the spine work but can't help wondering what effect something ornate has on the surface of the strop...
to me it seems you would end up with a grooved strop

Very nice indeed, I love the clean lines of it all...interested in Fuzzy's reply as I made one with some similar spinework and had to modify it so that it wouldn't mark up my strop on the flip.

I would worry more of how the heavy scales would turn in your hand while stropping.
