Default Friedmann & Lauterjung's Celebrated in horn

A custom restored Lauterjung's for a member here.
The razor is 8/8 massive hollow ground with very minimal hone wear. Unfortunately pitting close to the edge did not allow to clean up completely on greaseless compounds. I removed as much metal as possible without jeopardizing the edge, then moved on to buffing compounds.
Scales are Honey Ox horn copy of the originals pinned with nickel silver and stainless washers. The wedge is gabon ebony.
This is one really impressive razor.

Hell of a job on that wedge and I really love the small washers. Great pin job. One lucky member.

I haven't touched a Friedmann & Lauterjung - or an Electric Cutlery Co. (which is their company) that was any thing but outstanding. 'Very handsome Mainaman - and should be an outrageous shaver.

This one is a hollow ground, those 8/8 hollows are my favorite Sheffields.

I meant the wedge at the end of the scale. the way you blended the wedge into the scales.
