Cattaraugus double concave in Tobacco
Great work on this forum! I would like to punctuate the fine customs here with one of my old fixer-uppers I have completed. This blade is 13/16 and has a great (and obvious) double grind. A patent date on back of the tang reads Oct. 18 1902. (George Korn Patent?) Scales are tobacco celluloid, washed with water based opaque and "patinized" a bit with a damp towel before a light spray of satin clear. Pinned up with Babur's brass collars and a bronze pin.
Neat old American Razor, I think. Should shave like a dream! I will find out tomorrow !
Thanks! Tom

I rest my case.

Beautiful razor! I am always impressed by your work. You also seem to come up with some rather unique and interesting blades/scales.
