Default 9/8 Jonathan Crookes light restore and rescale

Just finished this one. The original scales were in nice shape but were cracked at the pivot. 9/8 at the toe Jonathan Crookes for Barbers Use. Rescaled in translucent horn with a wedge of aluminum-lined brown horn. Can't wait to get her honed up.

Nicely done. I must admit, you put up a good fight for that blade

Nice looking razor. Where did you find this razor? I would love to get a big 9/8 razor

A fine set of scales, nicely matched to the old blade. It's yours, but a little hand sanding were it mine! Excellent work!

Damn, now I'm embarrassed you know how much I paid for that thing
I wanted it enough to sell a chunk of my collection for it. Totally worth it.

Great working keeping the vintage look with adding just a touch of modern flair. Nicely done.

Those scales are beautiful, and I love the patina on the blade. Very nice
