Thanked: 1072Exactly, thanks to everyone for your kind words, and yes it is a real honor to receive compliments from the guys I consider my razor making heros.
The razor hasn't made it to the stones yet, I'll hopefully have time on Monday night.
I'll let you all know how the shave goes.
Thanks

Thanked: 734That is f'ing amazing that you were able to do that from an old file. The talent that a person is blessed with always fascinates me. You've done a mans job with that one.

Love it, well done Grant
The aggressive looking profile (great scales for it!) paired with the "filework" on the back, and the long tail..
It's an inspiration - may it shave as it looks

Man, Grant! It turned out awesome! The posts and pictures along the way were enjoyable as well! It looks as if all the work and learning have come to fruition in a sweet razor. Kudos, Mate!

Grant ! A belated congrats on this new baby. May it shave as good as it looks.

Thanked: 1936Top notch my friend, I hope she shaves as well as she looks & I look forward to hearing about the first shave.
Many don't realize how much work goes into making a razor, what it's like to make your own, and as you will soon know...what it's like to shave with your OWN razor. I hope you make many more, but they won't mean as much as this one.
Again, dang fine job my friend!Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott

Grant, this razor really caught my attention. Just fantastic work ! Your design is very appealing. One of the things that I appreciate most, is the remaining remnant of the original file stamp and the manner that you left it positioned on the tang. Great stuff ! Best Regards Ken
