Default Tennis Facharbeit In Clear Acrylic

    Hi all!
Here is my Tennis Facharbeit just rescaled in clear acrylic ... the scales i got it in didn't seem to fit at all so I figured with the etching still so nice, I'd give her some see through clothes
I hope you all like her!

Very nice! I'm also a fan of clear acrylic scales, and love the logic in your decision to incorporate them here. They appear to be graceful and slender, rather than thick and awkwardly clunky... bravo!

Sorry I should have elaborated ..... I cut them out of some scrap acrylic from window stock ... the wedge is burgundy linen micarta ... pins are brass ... washers are all small stainless.
    thanks for the compliments all.

Nicely done. Looks like you achieved a great finish on that acrylic and the wedge sets them off nicely.

I've tried working with plexiglass/acrylic. It is not so simple as it may seem. My hat is off to you sir! Beautiful scales, well proportioned and befitting the blade. Job well done!

You can be very proud of that work. The scales really showcase a superb razor. Enjoy.

How do you finish the scales? It seems like plexi or clear acrylics scratch easy (you know how they get hazy?). Do you just polish them or do you coat them with anything (CA finish)?

    Thanks,
