Thanked: 121893 C.W. DHALGREN Rescale
I had restored this blade awhile back but kept the scales on it. I decided to remove the scales and put on some new ones I had made as they had some rather large pits in them. Wood is layered Becote, Purpleheart and Padauk. This is my second try thinning out and joining woods. Worked out pretty well.

Thanked: 12Thanks much gents. It was the wood I had on hand and worked out rather well I think. It is a CA glue finish. about 20 layers of thin then sanded out and cut with turtlewax rubbing compound and buffed with Howard's Premium paste wax.
