    50mm blade , super aogami for the edge and 0,7%c for the handle .

    two sides : omote /ura
    in the omote side you can see a small hamon , and in the ura , you can see the welding line .

    and sanmai is for 3 layers of steel , Nimai is for "only" Two layers . in this case , it's a nimai ;-)

    Ah cool, thanks! (Sorry if this is answered in another thread), what are the benefits of differential tempering for something as small as a razor / kitchen knife for that matter?
