Default 8/8 Dorko and 9/8 W&B in horn

This is a NOS 8/8 Dorko with a worked spine and a 9/8 Wade and Butcher. Both were just scale and hone jobs. The W&B had been cleaned up previously but was still in the old warped scales. The owner wanted a two pin toe with squared off design. The pins on both sets are 1/16 brass rod with a single brass washer. Blades have thrust bearings and the wedges are maple. Both blades got a honing and shave very nice. I actually have this exact same Dorko in a different set of scales. It was a cloudy day outside so the shine of the scales does not show up in the photo but both sets have a nice high gloss finish buffed into them.

Nice looking work on both of those. I like the mild streaking to the horn on the Dorko.

The shape of your scales really accentuates those wonderful, beautiful blades.
    Well done!
