That looks great...I like the simple elegance of it all. My only thought would be if the stabilizer at the heel is going to come into play when honing.
Amazing work for a file. I am amazed at the talent some folks have.
That looks just amazing! I seriously need to find a metal workshop class and learn how to do this.
exactly my thoughts!!! I would love to learn how to do something like this.
Jamie... how did you learn this skill and have you got any tips/videos/links we can have a look at?
I shown the wife... even she loves it but some of tje first words out of her mouth... 'dont even think about asking for a price' lol.
that's a big one.
Hi Tom you will find a lot of information on this forum, but you can pick up a lot of good info from the British blades forum and knife making workshop, but even after saying that I think you may need a good level of practical skill as well.

I really dig that alot. I love your approach you took on the design. Nice and clean, & what a polish job on it.
Well done :tu
Sweet Blade, Jamie! If I may, from my own personal experience, wonder about that stabilizer. You might consider getting the bottom of it gone before honing it.
I also wonder what it would look like scaled. Nice Work! :chapeau
