Thanked: 12H. Boker Monarch cleanup and rescale
This is a nice little H. boker Monarch that I cleaned up and scaled for a local. I was not able to find any info on the "Monarch" model anywhere. Might have been made for a retailer or some such. The blade was in good shape just in need of a good shine. The goldwash (I assume it had it at some point) is gone but the engraving is in good order. the scales are made from Yellow Cedar with a CA glue finish.

Very nice. I love the scales. There is alot of depth in the wood, almost 3-d.

Very nice, I like the marbled look to the grain as well; very classy look.

Thanked: 12The wood is great looking. It however is VERY brittle. Since I hand sand everything I blew 4 sets of scales before I got a set of keepers. great looking yet VERY hard to work with when hand sanding. If i used a sander it would not be so bad I am sure.
