First restore ... Grandfather's ERN
This is my first restore so please be nice. The scales are made out of bloodwood. This was a great learning experience, I think I cracked three different pieces before even being able to pin it together. Sadly this has only increased my obsession with straight razors.

congrats on your first, and the fact that it is an heirloom makes it a daunting task as well. This was a learning experience so just remember the mistakes you made, and how not to repeat them and your next set will be even better.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Congrats on the first restore! Doubly awesome that you have an heirloom razor. And an ERN to boot!
I'm a sucker for a stamped tail. Giggity.

New design to the ERN.
I finally decided that I did not like the scales on my first restore ... so I redesigned them. I am pleased with the results and I'm sure my Grandfather would be too. But then, I'm sure he would be happy that I did not cut a finger off trying this. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
